It all started in 1992 when an Italian family of entrepreneurs moved to Zanzibar for what was supposed to be a sabbatical, a break from the hectic entrepreneurial lifestyle they had in northern Italy.

The interior design has been chosen with love and passion for the local culture and its hospitality. Western comfort and amenities combined with local arts and crafts have been chosen to make you feel most at home whilst being enriched by the Swahili heritage.
All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, hairdryer, towels and toiletries. Breakfast as well as daily servicing and cleaning is included.
